Sister P was baptized this week! It was a beautiful service. Her
daughter surprised her and came (when P didn't think she'd be
coming) and it really meant a lot to Sister P. I got emotional as I
watched her being immersed under the water, thinking about the past 7
months and all of the lessons we've had with her, how many times she
dropped us, how much she has glowed since reading the Book of Mormon,
and then finally seeing her enter into this beautiful covenant with
Heavenly Father. It was spiritually filling!

Hello, all!
It''s been quite the week! My birthday was
fab...my FAVORITE family had me over for dinner! The family that
either Claire or Jack will be related to by marriage. ;) Had some yummy
soup, they wrote 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER BEESON' on their window, and
then had some almond cake that was de-lish. Sooooo... that was that!
I'll send some pics. This week was a big 'growing' week for me. I really was able to pin point my weaknesses, and that definitely called me to repentance. I was able to experience the strengthening power of the Atonement quite a bit this week than ever before. I, just like many others I'm sure, sometimes put my pride in the way of this beautiful work. Sometimes I'm too afraid, too unbelieving in myself as a missionary to share my testimony with everyone...mainly on campus. My goal has been to LOVE campus. It is very difficult to confront my peers and talk about my beliefs when there is a wide variety of different beliefs. Sister Smith and I talked about this, and we decided to really put everything on the alter, which made campus fabulous this week! We really enjoyed it. We talked to everyone we saw! We felt good. We were able to meet so many people, and to hear about their beliefs and share ours with them. One in particular, we found a man sitting on a bench at a park with his dog (a little off campus) He had shaggy hair, not combed, glasses, a little scruff, and was wearing some sweat pants. We talked to him a little, and got to know him. He was SOOO nice, and he is big into music and was curious what type of music is played at our church. I said, "We can sing you a song we sing at church!" So, Sister Smith and I sang "I am a Child of God" to him. He LOVED it. We were able to walk and talk about the Restoration, and he found the Book of Mormon to be so interesting. We set a return appointment, and I didn't recognize him... he had a fresh haircut, shaved, and was wearing some nice clothes... to the Elders he goes!!! haha but were able to talk more about the Book of Mormon in depth. He really loved Moroni 10 and said he felt a special connection to a certain verse that talks about becoming like a child. He told us that the morning of our appointment, he wasn't sure if he wanted to meet, but he said that he felt like he needed to, and then expressed his thanks for answering the questions that he has needed answers to. It was wonderful!

My Birthday TODAY!!
What a gloomy April 7th! It's cloudy and cool outside. :) I woke up to
two lovely packages! One from you guys:) I must say... all
of your letters made me CRY.
I really broke down at dad's 'Linda story'
sheesh!
You all said very kind things, and you all sound so mature! It's
freaking me out... So, thank you! It really made my day. :) My companion made me some
breakfast, that was nice. :)
Oh myyyy... General Conference. SO good. Sister
Smith and I were talking about how before our missions, General
Conference would put us on this 'spiritual high' for a while, but now
that this was my 2nd time watching conference on my mission, it doesn't
seem to have the same effect, it still lifts me up, but I'm still lifted
up day after day after day... and it doesn't go away! It's a wonderful
feeling to be so close to the spirit every single day. Yeah, Elder
Holland's was WONDERFUL. I know we're not supposed to have favorites...
buttttt..... he does NOT mess around, does he? He'll cut straight to the
chase. I love it. So bold.
Well,
we enjoyed the warm week, wearing flats and light sweaters
until.......... Thursday. When it snowed 9 inches.. haha this PLACE!
It's ok, it's melted again for the most part and is the 50's again.
So, we
haven't seen ANY of our investigators except P! These families we
are working with are just getting further from us! It's breaking our
hearts. We've been praying for them. We've stopped by both many times,
and sometimes they are and aren't home, regardless, they don't have time
for us 'right now'... ugh! It's really hard.
P
is doing wonderfully though. She is LIVING THE WORD OF WISDOM STILL!
It's amazing. She has her baptismal interview tomorrow, and so we're
anxious to see how that goes. :) She is continuing to CHANGE. Her
countenance is shining! It
really is amazing what the Book of Mormon and keeping the commandments
can to internally and externally to people.
I don't
feel like I have much else to say... I really love you all and pray for
you everyday. Heavenly Father is our Father. Jesus is our Brother and
our Example. Following Him is the only way to happiness. Joseph Smith
restored all truth back to the earth for us to make it back to where we
started. I KNOW these things!

HIIIIIII!
Sorry for emailing so late these days... the library is always full in
the morning :(
I
am sooooo so so glad to hear of the WONDERFUL missionary experiences
you're having! That is so wonderful. Beesons, you are the ULTIMATE
members. Way to be. That really means so so so so soooooo much to us,
the ones with the name tags. You're wonderful. Thank you for offering
your home, food, and testimonies to build up the kingdom. It makes all
the difference.
It's
been a great week. The General Relief Society Broadcast was LOVELY. So
so so good. I really hope our investigators loved it as they watched it.
This church is so true. AH!
Um... not much of an update,
We
are speed emailing today, because we're short on time, but just know
I'm thinking and praying for you all. Have a LOVELY April fools,
(decorate my planners when you get them) and EVERYONE, remember its
mom's favorite holiday, so no one wash their hands in the sink!!!
xoxox, SISTER B
